Welcome to the website for the 242 Club!  This privately-funded website was first launched in 2004, and it served with distinction as the official website for the Xi Chapter of Psi Upsilon fraternity from 2004-2007 under the watch of Matt Tuccillo (Xi 1995), Ken Andersen (Xi 1997), and Kevin Kumler (Xi 1999).

In 2008, thanks to the generosity of the Club's donating members, it was retooled to serve a website focused exclusively on the 242 Club itself.

Since 1843, Psi Upsilon has been the premier fraternity at Wesleyan, shaping the lives of generations of leaders through the bonds of friendship and brotherhood.  The 242 Club is designed to extend and strengthen those bonds past graduation.  Founded in the early 2000's, it consists of Xi Chapter alumni from the 1990's onward.

Its goals are simple: (1) to celebrate the rich history of Psi Upsilon fraternity and the Xi Chapter, (2) to lend support, financial and otherwise, to the Xi Chapter to ensure its continued impact on future generations, and (3) to continue to financially support charities and social service organizations in the Middletown, CT area, thereby carrying on the important tradition of community service that was a backbone of our experiences at the Xi.

We encourage all Xi brothers to review and enjoy this website, which is devoted to the celebration of our fraternity's rich history and to our club's service efforts.  (While you're enjoying the site's content, you can listen to some Bon Jovi or some a capella Psi U tunes courtesy of the MP3 player in left page margin.)  We also encourage everyone to check out our club's Facebook group (launched in 2009).

For anyone interested in learning more, providing feedback to or communicating with us, please visit the "Contact Us" page of the site or contact us via our Facebook group.  We look forward to hearing from you soon!

** A special note (October 2014):  It is with great sadness that we have read published reports of recent incidents on campus, which have affected us both as Xi Chapter alumni and as loving fathers to daughters of our own.  Until such time as investigations conclude and litigation ends, we are suspending our financial support for the Xi Chapter itself.  We will continue our fundraising and donation on behalf of Middletown area charities.  We are aware of the University's decision that the Xi Chapter shall coeducate, which in the long-term does not impact our strong desire to see the Xi Chapter endure, thrive, and continue to shape future leaders. **
